Port Vila Presse KICKS BUSH BUTT ON MADSEN STORY:
These folks must play soccer, because they have kicked the Bushitler Ball way down the field....See link:

http://www.news.vu/en/news/InternationalMediaCoverage/041127-vanuatu-Marcos.shtml

The money to rig the election in favor of Bush reportedly came from an entity called Five Star Trust, largely based in Houston but a worldwide entity that is directly tied to the Saudi Royal Family. Five Star Trust was termed "a well-protected vehicle" that has been used to support both Bush and Osama bin Laden in the US and around the world.

Other money used to fund the election rigging was from siphoned Enron money stored away in accounts in the Cook Islands, which was once the base of one of the more questionable and Saudi-linked BCCI subsidiaries. Cook Islands banks also handled some of the weapons smuggling financing of the Iran-Contra scandal. A former Justice Department attorney who helped prosecute the BCCI case said the use of the Cook Islands by the Bush reelection team indicates they wanted the bank arrangements to be a "quick folding tent" operation that would cease to exist when the election was over. He said the Cook Islands was notorious for not requiring any documentation for such operations.

1. Are you serious?
The only people that will read this will be the leftovers from the Survivor filming. Vanuatu? In the middle of the Pacific?

I thik we're gonna need a little more than a teeeny Gilligan's Island kinda place picking up the feed and running it. Sorry, that's how I feel.

2. I won't "run" with this sort of stuff
unless it's independently sourced; preferably at least one from the MSM. This one falls a little short of that exacting guideline. But I file EVERYTHING of interest away, for future confirmation or refutation. This story recently appeared on DU and elsewhere, and that's a lot of smoke.

While Google-searching "Five Star Trust", I didn't find any Smoking Gun (so far), but I came across a few interesting websites. Here they are: http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=13817359

3. What does Ferdinand Edralin Marcos have to do with this???
He is the dead ex-president of the Philippines. His name and picture appear along side the article. I hope I didn't just blatantly miss something and I"m going to look stupid, but it all just didn't jive.

Thoughts?

7. And your point is?
The Philippines are a nation of over 80,000,000 people. Trying to connect any two random events there is like the people who say, "Oh, you're from Chicago. Do you know my cousin Bob?"

11. Curious factoid about the Philippines ...
If my memory serves, the Philippines is one of the very few countries cited in the Pew poll some time ago where the majority of the people support bush. I think there were only 2 or 3 countries where bush isn't the most hated man on earth. Maybe Poland is the other country. (Perhaps that's why bush got so upset that Kerry "forgot Poland.")

Not that this little factoid about the Philippines still supporting bush has anything to do with anything, but remember that in life there are no coincidences.

8. This stuff is not new and has been out before. What are you all so
threatened for? Didn't you watch Farenheit 9-11? Isn't this why freepers hate Michael Moore so much? Correct? Truth hurts? I'd suggest you go read up on Watergate.

9. look it up
" Metro Bank was thought to contain some of the billions of dollars laundered by the CIA and the Cook Islands International Trust Corp. on behalf of Ferdinand Marcos. Marcos's CIA intermediaries in the Cooks were Eldon William Morris, James Centers, and Dante Dominigo Agdeppa. Morris was under investigation by the Queensland Special Branch and the FBI in Hawaii and California."

6. This IS Madsen's story in the Port Vila Presse
Also be cautious -- this is the story/writer that Olbermann ripped today. Whether or not the story turns out to have some truth to it (and Olbermann allowed that it might) Madsen's story has some credibility gaps.

November 27, 2004 | 12:43 p.m. ET
Reportedly According to Apparently Informed Sources (Keith Olbermann)

New York - As of earlyFriday evening, at least 60 viewers and readers had forwarded me cut-and-pastes of -- or links to -- an amazingly intricate conspiracy theory on-line piece that intertwines the Presidential election, Homeland Security, the FBI, $29,000,000 in payoffs, Enron, and the Saudi Royal Family - seemingly everybody except the Visiting Nurse Association of Skaneateles, New York.

Each email has come with the same question: could this possibly be true?

different cookie jars alluded to here. And now we have Goss because the previous CIA isn't true enough to Bush? And then we have CIA agents bailing out? Hmmmm. And Bush just has to run up to see his buddies in Canada at a time he needs to be dealing with Iraq and the shit he has screwed up there. Hmmmmm.

Me thinks there could be a huge case of the clash of the titans going on here, as in who can feck over who harder for not being loyal to the BIG SECRETS.

...and to think a man named Michael Moore alluded to alot of this in brief in his film. Good thing he's become WELL KNOWN cuz there's a good chance that he ain't going to be found floating in some bay.
