5. Bet they are going to be kept a secret as long as possible
and perhaps never be revealed if possible.
Randi Rhodes has been asking about this for a couple of weeks now.

4. I have an odd feeling about this.
I think if Bush had taken it we would have heard by now.

The few reports that have trickled in have had Kerry leading.

Here's a thread about it.

7. If Bush had won the military votes KKKarl would be shouting it from the
rooftops. There must be a few too many Kerry votes from our soldiers!!!
Can't we write to our Congress people to urge them for transparency on this issue? It's very important and if Bush did not get the bulk of the military votes it will help with anti-Shrub publicity.

It's not just our army neighbors & friends who voted for Kerry...

Hubby is active duty military. He has 31 troops that work for him. Of those 31 soldiers, 2 voted for bush. TWO.

3 soldiers are Independants who all voted for Kerry, 2 soldiers didn't vote at all;

ALL THE REST VOTED FOR KERRY.

And maybe that's why the reports keep saying the soldiers' ballots -those that have been counted- are favoring Kerry.

10. I am also extremely interested in the results, and have heard nothing.
This came up at my neighborhood Thanksgiving get-together. No one has heard a peep, but we all have come to the same conclusion: bush must be losing the confidence of the military, because if he were winning their votes, it would be all over the mainstream media.

I wonder if Keith Olbermann has tapped into this motherlode yet.

I hate making the military a political puck, but bush has used them so badly, it's only fair to reveal what they think about him.

12. Would say that
Based on what I saw, 80% of those I knew in my military career were Republicans or voted that way.....Clinton wasn't very well liked by most and Kerry was hurt by his actions post-Nam and the Swift Boat ads, no doubt these hurt him.
But, yes, there are loyal Democrats in the armed forces. Stars and Stripes as well as the service papers(Air Force/Army/Navy Times) just put out studies showing a 74/20% Bush/Kerry split amount military members....rest they didnt say. If I run across anything, will post it, take care all

13. Wasn't It Posted Here, or Maybe Somewhere Else, that the Pentagon...
...is receiving and counting the overseas military vote?

And wouldn't they look absolutely stupid, if their soldiers were all voting against the Commander in Chief?

And then, ask yourself: Will there be a fair counting of the vote?

My sister, and her husband, both now in Iraq, are Republicans, but I believe she told me before the elections, that they both would vote for John Kerry.

I believe a whole helluva lot of soldiers over there, and under threat of being sent over there to Iraq, have "crossed over".

The question is...Will the Pentagon allow their votes to reflect that?

14. I'm sure they don't want to count them
THIS year.

Kerry did VERY well in the Norfolk/VA Beach area in VA (HUGE naval base there).
