The thing to remember about recounts
A lot of folks on this board say they don't think recounts will change the presidential election result, but I think that is being a bit shortsighted for two reasons: We need to find out how (un)reliable various methods of voting are and there is a good chance that while X number of votes in any given district might not change the presidential results, there are thousands of local and state elections included on those ballots. Those results may be changed and make a real difference for the politicians and their constituents. Right wing fundamentalists got their start on the school boards of this country, not in federal elections.
