23. And it has errors in it too - so much for their allegedly high IQ's
One would think they would learn to write before writing something like that, but then again, you would think they would understand the issues before putting their names to a document bereft of any true vision or practical usefuleness.

3. So I guess that it isn't surprising...
Edited on Sun Nov-28-04 11:31 AM by IndyOp
that the first 'study' to counter Steven Freeman's was from grad students at CalTech (it was a piece of junk). Also not surprising that one of the first 'studies' to counter Michael Hout's was also from CalTech. The critical comments about Hout's paper were OUTRAGEOUS -- Hout is a PhD Sociologist at UC Berkeley who is a member of the National Academy of Sciences -- and his critics wrote that they would consider his paper good 'if he were an undergraduate'. Sound like a politically-motivated comment to anyone else?

The scum-sucking sons of beeches!

:grr:

19. There is no voting-machine worse than a paperless electronic
voting-machine.

Even punchcards are better, because at least there is something to re-count.

12. All they're saying is "Well, we tried"
That's a nice sentiment if you're baking a cake and it falls. They fail to understand the enormity of the mistakes.

Yoo-hoo up there, please come down from your ivory tower :eyes:

14. We are NOT convinced
Read this sentence, it has a double negative, and is grammatically confusing...does this sound like it came from a brain at caltech/mit? sounds like a partisan hack to me!

"We are convinced that there is no precinct in America now that has not put effort into making their voting technology and process more careful and transparent than in the past."

18. What garbage. Any precinct which switched from
punchcards or optical-scan ballots or plain-pager ballots to electronic voting-machines now has a LESS transparent, LESS trustworthy, MORE expensive system.

24. Some People Who Endorsed are Members of VTP Itself !
Guess they needed a little incestuous voting to boost their numbers to 2 digits - BTW, none of these cowards actually put their names on their deceitful and discredited "report" - the chickenshits were afraid of "hate mail" !

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Americans have died in battle to secure the voting rights that Bushitler is stripping from us, with lots of help from the Caltech/MIT Voting Technology Project (VTP).
