Not sure if this is a dupe....but found it today
I had seen someone post where Collin County (Texas) was unable to retrieve their votes from the touch machine...and found this article to be interesting.

"My concern is that the election office is very dependent on the vendor," said Deborah Angell Smith, chairwoman of the party. "We do not consider Diebold an impartial party in the election."
Local Democratic officials say the malfunction underscores their long-standing concern about the accuracy and reliability of the new touch-screen voting machines.

If there ever was a state to pad votes..it would be Texas. It would be very interesting to know how many votes were not real here---2 out of 3 people that I know here voted for Kerry.

Sorry if this was a dupe.
