Another mandate for Bush!
A clear and decisive victory for him - he can freely govern from the far right, since the american people have given him explicit license to do so.

Yeah, right...BUT THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GONNA HEAR, FOLKS.

2. Not like it matters
He acted like he had a mandate in 2000, too. He couldn't possibly be any further-right even if he had 90% of the vote.

3. No.
There is no mandate when the authority to lead is stolen through deceit, thuggery and intimidation.

5. He's a popular wartime president
We must unify behind him. He intends to reach out to people who did not vote for him, both reliable source Karen Hughes and Rudy Guiliani said tonight....

Yeah -- and I am going to be recruited for "Baywatch"....

More likely: he will marginalize and expand his suppression of Americans who oppose authoritarian militant theocracy. Gangway, Muslims. 'cause "Freedom is on the March" (translation Mr Ambassador: "Genocide, as found in the Bible, is justified and god-based foreign policy.")

Yeah -- Democrats are dogmeat. But so are moderate republicans (I've been warning y'all....) And wait till born again Christians start to get antsy about stuff like unfettered torture of "combatants".... I never thought I'd see the day when someone like Pat Robertson would call Uncle before a fascist like Bush, but hey, these are insane times.... Anyway -- **y'all** are next. Hope you enjoy being demonized as much as we decent law-abiding reality-based Democrats did. Let's see -- Hagel, McCain -- we're all global niggers now. Welcome aboard.
