This is useless alright
Not for those with a week stomach
Is this guy serious?

http://www.useless-knowledge.com/1234/new/article328.html

This part was to much:

"So, there we have it. Again, what the Democrats cant win, they work to overturn via the legal system comprised of highly-paid lawyers. What more will the Dems do in their unquenched thirst for power? Just watch and, if youre not yet, you WILL be amazed! "

3. Yes
Yes, SHE is very serious. I love this part though:

About the author: Sher Zieve has written more than 100 articles for Useless-Knowledge and is a Conservative political commentator. She firmly believes that if Leftists were to run the country (and left to their own devices), it would be the end of the United States as a sovereign nation.

4. Hey Sue-do us all a favor and post articles that aren't stupid.
This article would appeal to a 10 year old intellect. Why did you post it?

It's the second article you've posted today in a similar vein. What's up?

Yes this is not for the weak of stomach. It's hard to know how to respond to people like this.

I'm tempted, but I don't know where to begin. It is just sophmoric rudeness and unfounded allegations and, typical, attacks upon the Dems for what the Reps have done - the whole what they can't win stuff, wasn't it Bush who lost Florida and took it to court?

Ahhhh....just not worth it.

Better to read this.

13. If you're seeing "ignore" it means you've chosen to ignore that poster
Then if they post in a thread, you won't see what they post, all you will see is "ignored" or something like that.

click the "Home" link and I think that's where you'll find all the rules and et cetera.

Welcome to DU. I didn't mean to be snarky with my prior post.

I have been watching and learning .
I guess because I saw others posting such things I thought it was OK....
NOT COOL!!!

I have noticed that often people are very quick to accuse people of things
just because they do not agree with there point of view. I guess in this kind of group all kinds of people with all kinds of opinions will often clash and misinterpreter what someones intentions are.

17. Not what is important. That article will only make you hate your
neighbor. that is not what we must do. We must come together as Humans, and Love every body, we can not let them divided us. if we do, all is lost!! We must put an end to hatred. Blue states and red states, it is just another way for them to divide us. That is the only way they can win. that is the only way the machines will win.

Please end the Hate. End the Killing of our people. end the Slavery that oppresses us. With our our right to vote nothing else matters.

Hug your neighbor, hug your sister, hug your Brother, and take back your right to vote.

15. My favorite parts!!! LOL!!

Jackson is not only demanding a recount for the entire state but, has also "commanded" that Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell step down from participating

"Jackson has further warned Ohio officials that his Rainbow-PUSH Coalition attorneys, along with other Dem lawyers and John Kerry, will file an election challenge demanding that the votes be recounted and the election results be overturned in favor of Kerry. So, not only is Jackson planning to take over the state of Ohio but, hes planning to call the election results for Kandidate Kerry; results that are not justified by reality. But, leftist Dems always work to make reality fit their own corrupt agendas. "

and finally...

"What more will the Dems do in their unquenched thirst for power?"

I did not realize this post would be inappropriate
once again my apologies to any one who was upset or annoyed by it

I had noticed in DU that many people share things
from the Freeper forum to show what others might be saying about the left (even if what they say is nuts) Sometimes it helps to understand that point of view even if its not very loving. Im just trying to understand were people are coming .

21. Noam Chomsky: On the 2004 Elections
I don't always agree with him but he's a smart man, worth reading..

Noam Chomsky: On the 2004 Elections

http://www.infoshop.org/inews/stories.php?story=04/11/29/9366984

-snip-
"On the eve of the 2000 elections, about 75% of the electorate regarded
it as a game played by rich contributors, party managers, and the PR
industry, which trains candidates to project images and produce
meaningless phrases that might win some votes. Very likely, that is why
the population paid little attention to the "stolen election" that
greatly exercised educated sectors. And it is why they are likely to pay
little attention to campaigns about alleged fraud in 2004. If one is
flipping a coin to pick the King, it is of no great concern if the coin
is biased. "

26. However sobering, Chomsky ends positively...
I read the whole essay--whew, a challenge, esp early in the am! Thanks for posting it.

I think this whole essay is a sobering statement of the difficulties of the job ahead, given the historical context--but I don't think Chomsky ends on a down note. It seems to be a challenge from a weary warrior, a veteran of the 60's. I take it to mean that he thinks there is opportunity if we dont fold our tents and go home but maintain a more constant pressure and use our own media avenues.

-------------

CHOMSKY WRITES AT THE END:

"...we can learn a lot from the studies of public attitudes that are kept in the shadows. Though it is natural for doctrinal systems to try to induce pessimism, hopelessness and despair, the real lessons are quite different. They are encouraging and hopeful. They show that there are substantial opportunities for education and organizing, including the development of potential electoral alternatives.

As in the past, rights will not be granted by benevolent authorities, or won by intermittent actions a few large demonstrations after which one goes home, or pushing a lever in the personalized quadrennial extravaganzas that are depicted as "democratic politics." As always in the past, the tasks require day-to-day engagement to create in part re-create the basis for a functioning democratic culture in which the public plays some role in determining policies, not only in the political arena from which it is largely excluded, but also in the crucial economic arena, from which it is excluded in principle."

----------
To me the key word above is "re-create."
--------------

OK if the estimate is correct-- 75% of people are not "paying attention" when elections are stolen. But what of the other 25%?

Sure, when people see nobody doing anything about serious corruption, cynicism increases-- but when you give people hope they will respond to positive efforts eventually. Nobody really is happy with being reduced to "irrelevant onlookers" when they can see what's going on. Cynicism and denial is a survival mechanism that can be broken down eventually.

We (the 25% that refuse to deny) must take the lead.
"Keep your eyes on the prize."

27. Thanks dzika
This is very interesting. I'm having a hard time reading it (I'm dyslexic) I imagine its not an easy read even without that challenge . I have heard him on on cspan & wbai. He makes some very important observations.

It seems to me that the election had a lot to do with who was better at packaging what they wanted the public to believe (the Branding & marketing) And of coarse who perfected the art of stealing the vote.

With a media that does not go very deep.....and seems to be just part of the branding of the right these days. Going back to the article I posted I think often people have excepted that the Republican BRAND is a reality not to be questioned . like many of the new drugs that they sell so well...later they learn they kill people.

referring back to my original post I often try and understand the nature of those that say such scary things. Some things there are truly now explanations for ...except perhaps ignorance & hate.

Subject: your brain has completely disinigrated

< In a move blatantly planned to whip the Democrat base to new heights of frenzy, Jesse Jackson shouted and preached to a riotous crowd at an Ohio congregation virtually screaming that President Bush had ‘stolen the Ohio votes’. Jackson’s exact words were: “We can live with losing an election! We cannot live with fraud and stealing!!!" It’s obvious to anyone that he and the rest of the leftist Democrats CANNOT live with losing the election. >

You're right, Dems can't live with another 4 years of a tyrant. We can't believe our vote counted when Republicans deny us access to a paper trail to verify our votes. We can't believe when Bush supporters make the election machines. And we can't believe the vote was fair when now dozens of irregularities have been found that ALL favor Bush.

<The battleground state of Ohio was where the NAACP paid for voter registration with crack cocaine! >

Not only is that remark false, it's rascist, I think you're the one smoking crack!

<It’s even more obvious that the Democrats are the ones trying to steal that which was won, fair and square, by President Bush. >

Uhhh...do you have even one bit of evidence of this? Anything at all to contradict the MOUNTAIN of evidence we have that Bush stole it?

<However, as usual the Democrat ‘leaders’ blame the opposition for what they are doing; trusting that their base will buy the ruse. Unfortunately, they always seem to do so. It’s the under-educated leftist base way. >

Actually dipshit, in study after study, poll after poll, it has been found that most college grads are Kerry supporters. Oh, but I bet you think those "college smarites" are just liberal elite. You fucking redneck!

<In an additional arrogant and highly-suspect move, Jackson is not only demanding a recount for the entire state but, has also commanded that Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell step down from participating in the recount. Jackson also had the audacity to say that ‘allowing’ Blackwell to stay would be "the fox guarding the chicken house”.>

Uh yeah douchebag...why don't you mention in this article that Blackwell was "honorary co chair of the Bush Ohio election campaign"?

< Apparently, Jesse has decided to take over Secretary Blackwell’s position. And, he expects Blackwell to back down to his demands. After all, as he will tell anyone who will listen, “I’m Jesse Jackson and you’re not!” >

Not to mention that Jesse Jackson is only JUST NOW getting on board with a movement that has been growing for weeks among thousands of pissed off AMERICANS who are now taking to the streets to show assholes like you that your time is up!

<Jackson has further warned Ohio officials that his Rainbow-PUSH Coalition attorneys, along with other Dem lawyers and John Kerry, will file an election challenge demanding that the votes be recounted and the election results be overturned in favor of Kerry. So, not only is Jackson planning to take over the state of Ohio but, he’s planning to call the election results for Kandidate Kerry; results that are not justified by reality. But, leftist Dems always work to make reality fit their own corrupt agendas. >

Candidate is spelled with a "c" oh educated one.

<So, there we have it. Again, what the Democrats can’t win, they work to overturn via the legal system comprised of highly-paid lawyers. What more will the Dems do in their unquenched thirst for power? Just watch and, if you’re not yet, you WILL be amazed! >

YOU WILL BE AMAZED YOU F*#$! I'll be keeping my eye on you too.
