BS? All of NV had paper trail except Las Vegas? Verified Voting...
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 02:17 AM by FullCountNotRecount
claims the whole state of Nevada had paper trails on the link from Democrats.com but we have had posters who on election day said that Las Vegas DID NOT have paper trails. It was a national news story that Nevada would be the only state to have paper trails in the entire state.

Help! What is it? Paper trails in the whole state or just in Republican counties?

With the Nevada recount news the recount requesters says no paper trails. The media needs to print a big correction for those of us who thought Nevada was going to have a paper trail in the entire state and one of the safer elections.

Of course a paper trail is meaningless without random audits by each party to check to tabulators against the paper ballots like they do in some states.

1. There were new Sequoias with paper trails in the rural counties
that were purchased with HAVA money by sos Dean Heller, Repuke. Then there were some Las Vegas precincts with another 2,000 paperless Sequoias that have been used there for ten years that Sequoia suddenly could not "retrofit" with printers after they said they could this past year. So Heller promised at least one new Sequoia at each Las Vegas precinct with printer so if people were freaked out about the old paperless machines, they could use that one. Clark County is huge but cities within it like Henderson are Repuke. Las Vegas, the population epicenter is Dem. For example, the Henderson area and the Nellis AFB area vote Repub and have had a Republican Congressman Jim Gibbons. Las Vegas city center has a Dem congresswoman, Shelly Berkley. And then the areas north of Las Vegas have a Repuke named ....shoot can't remember it right now, nice guy, but Repub.

The majority of the state's population lives in Vegas, the fastest growing city in the US and has almost a 40% minority base. Go figure.

If you know how to manipulate the code in Sequoias at the time of tabulation for the entire county ...guess what could happen?! A 21,000 lead for Bush!!!

2. Thx but remember 21,000 equals 10,500 switched votes
would make Kerry the winner.

3. Sounds like the perfect place to spring this................

Seems we could get a focused blitz to recanvass LV and see if a affidavit-backed poll would yield the same results as the E-Machines. Taking back Nevada would be a pretty damn eye-opening event and would call the whole election into question.

4. good idea!
just think, they lied so hard to keep attention away from the fact that some voters didn't use printers in Vegas and I hadn't thought of it from the angle of it only being a bit over 10,500 would have swung it over the line to Kerry. When you have over a million voters registered ....jeez ........

here is a link trail I did on the paperless machines ...
