Send all Ohio statistical analysis and poll data to lawyer Cliff Arnebeck
Cliff is the lawyer litigating on behalf of Common Cause. He is national co-chair and attorney for Alliance for Democracy. He has been collecting videotaped affidavits regarding voter suppression in Ohio. He stated yesterday at the Jackson rally that they believe votes were switched from Kerry to Bush in Southern Ohio, so data from any county in Ohio is germaine.

His email is arnebeck@aol.com

and what does this have to do with Ohio? It totally discredits the case - stating that exit polls are what was wrong. Are you sure you are on the right board?

11. Strong indications of electronic glitches or fraud in Ohio counties
Strong indications of electronic glitches or fraud in Ohio counties

In analyzing the still-unofficial results, the totals reveal that C. Ellen Connally, an African-American Democratic candidate from Cleveland running for Ohio Chief Justice, received more than votes than Kerry in many counties. For example in Butler County, Connally received 5347 more votes than Kerry. The list of the counties where Connally actually outpolled Kerry include Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Darke, Highland, Mercer, Miami, Putnam, Shelby, Van Wert, and Warren.

The reason the Kerry vote counts are suspect is because Connelly, a retired African-American judge, was vastly outspent in her race, and did not have the visibility of the presidential race. Thus for a more obscure Democratic candidate, farther down on the ticket, to get many more votes statewide than Kerry, suggests something happened to suggest there may have been a transfer of Kerry votes to Bush. ""Statistically, Kerry, as the Democratic presidential candidate, should have more votes than Connally. In a presidential election, most voters have the priority of casting a vote for president and the votes for president are almost always much higher than those of candidates farther down the ticket. As of election night, 5,481,804 votes were counted for Bush and Kerry. 4,327,270 votes were counted for Moyer and Connally.

""This looks like a computer glitch or a computer fix,"" said Bob Fitrakis, a lawyer, political scientist and Editor of the Columbus Free Press (http://freepres.org) who has written about election irregularities since Bush was declared the winner. Fitrakis is among the team of lawyers who announced they would soon file an election challenge in the state’s Supreme Court.

12. Warren County: most successful voter drive ever, or stuffing ballot box
Warren County, a traditional Republican stronghold northeast of Cincinnati, came to national attention on election night. While the nation awaited returns from Ohio, the state that would decide the election, county officials locked down the administrative building and prohibited all independent observers from watching the vote count.

An analyst who has all the vote data for 2000 and 2004 by precinct in several Ohio counties did a detailed analysis by precinct of the huge increase in Bush votes and margin in Warren county. This county first did a lockdown to count the votes, then apparently did another lockdown to recount the votes later- resulting in an even bigger Bush margin and very unusual new patterns.

Several very unusual patterns were evident in the history and the vote totals by precinct. The analyst concludes:

"George W. Bush’’s big win in Warren County was due to one of two things –– one of the most successful voter registration drives in American political history, or stuffing the ballot box. If the vote was legitimate, the records will show it. There will be a signature in a different handwriting for every one of the 16,803 newly registered voters, and for every one of the 95,512 ballots cast. If the vote was not legitimate, there will be a shortage of punch cards in the ballot box, or duplicate handwriting on the voter rolls, or fewer registered voters than reported."

Other counties and likely Kerry win in recount with fair rules: http://web.northnet.org/minstrel/alpage.htm

16. This is good send this to Erica Solvig, Howard Wilkinson and Dan Horn
of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

esolvig@enquirer.com
dhorn@enquirer.com
hwilkinson@enquirer.com

The Enquirer broke the Warren County lockdown story. With Gannet lawyers they are in a position to investigate. They did sue for the emails and the memos regarding the lockdown.

3. Best if the authors of the data collecting or analysis sent their stuff
themselves so Cliff can followup with affidavits if necessary.

5. has anyone done an analysis of the new voters?
my brother emailed one to me( I am still not sure if he is the one who made it ,but it has some calculations on percentages of the new voters and in some cases Bush got over 100% of the new voters .

I will try to send it to this lawyer,if no one else has already analysed it that way

18. I'm not sure why you're posting this -- did he ASK for data?
Does the data you're suggesting be sent aid his specific law suit (which it's my understanding is more bout voter SUPPRESSION than other forms of fraud such as switched, shaved and padded votes via computer and adding irrelevent data usually doesn't help in a lawsuit)?

If he didn't ask, you're going to clog his email with superfluous information -- not a very helpful thing to do IMO. In fact, counterproductive since someone has to wade through all that.

Are you aware that there are other groups more focused on the parts you're asking people to send -- specifically the Cobb/Badnerik recount effort -- and who have some DUer and other statisticians working with them already? And further that if Arnebeck wants that kind of data he certainly knows he can simply ask the Cobb/Badnerik recount effort?

I just think this is NOT particularly helpful, tho I know your intentions are good.

20. I just saw him speak Monday at the Jackson rally in Cincinnati
He said they had prima facie evidence that Kerry votes were switched to Bush votes in Southern Ohio. While I am aware that Cliff has been collecting videotaped sworn affidavits of voter suppression my impression is that is only part of the focus. I will see him tonight at the meeting in Cincinnati and will ask him.

stating the case for us, and standing up for it against another one of those foolish Reptilican women who called to say Dems should quit "whining". If you get a chance, please let him know how much we all appreciate the great job he is doing

19. Thanks to all ....
Eloriel raises some important issues.

Since I'm involved with the Cobb and Badnarik recount, I'd urge you to provide any statistical information or reports that you might have on this thread so it's all compiled together.

Thanks,
hedda.

24. What is the current count after the provisional ballots?
Is the 136,000 difference after the provisionals? The news articles I've read haven't made that clear to me. How many new votes did Kerry get? How many new votes did Bush get?

27. I am listening to Cliff Arnebeck right now on the CSPAN archives.
He is taking calls from stupid repukes and is handling them very well. One so called national guardsman was practically threatening him and this guy didn't flinch. He's good. Glad he's on our side.
