10. Article written by WaPo hack as guest writer. Nothing out of WaPo is
anything these days but more hype of the "propaganda machine." There are other articles which show what this guy says is wrong. He's the "chief pollster for WaPo." But we have others who contradict him. Especially that he repeats the "lie" that some Bush voters were "reluctant" to answer the exit pollster. I've known alot of Repugs...and the ones who voted for Bush are hardly quiet about their preferences....

2. Judge Peter Breen
brings back memories. Had friend sent to jail by Breen over Xmas for DUI. Not condoning DUI...but judge was in hospital and friend walked into his room with a ventilator saying "remember me?"

The look on his face was priceless.

12. Why do these judges act like their little votes won't count?
A few votes here and there all through the country could totally change this election!! The parties always emphasize before an election, that everyone should get out and vote. That there vote could make the difference. So they owe it to the american people, to make sure all the votes are counted properly!! period!!

13. What a fool!
"But Breen said they have been unable to show that the outcome of the presidential election would be changed if the case went forward."

Yeah, well we'll be filing suit in several other states, and if the courts would get their heads out of their asses they'd see that it DOES affect the outcome of the presidential election.

I am pissed!

14. You have no right to have your voted counted.
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 04:27 PM by dzika
"The election should not be disturbed nor scrutinized by the court without a reasonable showing of a different outcome or an uncertain result," he said.

So, if the fraud includes padding in other states, a single state will never hear the case because the padding prevents a single challenge in a single state from changing the outcome.

And the Federal Court says it's a State issue. What do you do?

25. What a stupid ruling....in effect it condones really good frauding...
Because if the fraud is good enough, you can't scrutinize it.

16. Basically what this means
is that we have lost the election process forever.

Our votes have been HACKED!!! The elections are now and will continue to be rigged and there is nothing we can do about it.

"There are not enough votes for the irregularities to effect the outcome". How many times have we heard this excuse now? Holy crap, fucking open your eyes America!

Seriously, did the MSM take a course over the summer on how to keep pulling the wool over our dumbass (red states) eye's?

Sorry for being pessimistic, but this shit is finally pissing the shit out of me off.

When will our country find a leader to stand up and defend Democracy? JJ, Nader & the Green Party is a good start, but we need a COALITION to bring these Repub mother f*ckers down.

How can a judge throw it out? I thought you go to the board of elections for a recount.

23. But this was...
.... a lawsuit to prevent Nevada from certifying their electoral votes.

It doesn't necessarily affect the ability ot recount, if I'm not mistaken.

24. It has the effect
of not stopping the electors from being certified and committed. In other words the recount can still happen, it just won't have any "Legal Effect"

27. this really has no bearing on the recount
they are different issues - he may later come back to make such a ruling and obviously this is the republican legal strategy cf. ohio ruling against expedited recount because glibs could not prove 'irreparable harm' where is senator kerry?!?!

33. I just realized something.
Someone posted in a reply to me today that an unfavorable ruling would still tell the plaintiff what he needed for such a case. That's exactly what the judge did do. The judge ruled that he dismissed the case because the plaintiff did not demonstrate how it would change the outcome. Bingo!
