2. I'm out here from NM doing 'election protection'
I'll post what I posted in a couple of forums.....

I'm out here with 'election protection', and was told by 2 of our lawyers that the 1/3 of New Mexicans that voted early on touch screens w/no paper trail may have a problem.

An 11th hour decision was made last night to switch back to the old machines. There will be no comment until after the election. 2Lawyers with our group told me this. As I search the internet I can find nothing.............

I'm so confused.

BTW my precinct went 2-1 for Kerry.

3. The many Naderites at AlterNet are dancing with joy.
Let's call them what they really are.....closet Republicans.
Some attacked Kerry on IWR and pro-choice but gave Nader a pass on his pro-choice stand.

I gave up trying to talk with them. It was like trying to reason with a Scientologist.

7. It's not Nader. It's the people who voted for him
that are at fault. When those folks pulled the lever for Nader they knew exactly what they were doing. Even if he wasn't on the ballot, there's no guarantee Kerry would have had all of his votes. It would have been a slight majority for Bush anyway. Many Nader-ites are still pissed that the Dems have tried to keep them off the ballots in many states. Surely you've heard that scenario. There are still a lot of anti-war libertarian types out there who want to cast a protest vote, and they've gotten their chance. Sad but true. Even MM voted for Nader in 2000. No excuse for them then, no excuse now.

8. Naderites laud their beautiful minds and clean consciences.
But I asked several what good is voting their PURE ideology when they will have Bush's blood on their hands.

11. yep, don't fool yourselves
They are very antiwar and they think Kerry is not, for good reason. I don't blame them. If Nader is a factor, then it's our fault.

12. NM is STILL counting absentee/provisional ballots - don't count us out yet
We worked our buns off -- and, yes, thank you very much WE ALSO HAVE moral values -- some would say only Democrats know the real meaning of "morality" anyway.

13. God I HATE NADER
if there is a hell -- I hope he rots there for eternity.

But I do believe that his mind is dead already -- he is suffering from some sort of mental disorder.
