1. Hartmann is right, you know. If we don't start protests in the
streets, and let them all know we mean business, NOTHING is going to happen to make for fair elections in the future.

If we DON'T do it, we're sealing our fate, and the fate of our children, forever.

2. Yeah good luck with that.
Most of the people here, on this very message board, won't get that active. We live in apathetic times, sad but true.

3. Hey, I'll be out there.
Remember the Iraq protests? Even though it didn't do any good, there were 100's of 1000's of people across the country protesting.

People are only apathetic when they aren't told the truth.

5. people are apathetic when other people are apathetic
but if a few people get together and start it off then maybe others will join in, then more will join them, you'll get noticed, maybe get some media coverage, more will come along...

An excellent article, but I would expect no less.
The problem is that those who understand what has happened are being wore down by the patience of waiting for the things that must happen and the momentum the administration is pouring into starting their second term, and those who don't understand what has happened aren't hearing about it with nightly outrage on their "teevee's." Without inspiring the former -daily- and informing the latter -daily-, this movement is doomed to be little more than a historic footnote at best.
