Republicans want to delay democracy 11 days
Even if it's a law, it's a law that makes no sense.

11 days is a long time to wait. The Republicans want to delay democracy for 11 days.

This isn't a recount - it's a count.

Rove's tactic when he calls for a recount is to turn public opinion against his opponent during the recount.

That is the perception and it works well for Kerry.

2. Counting the ,projected HIGH VOLUME, voter ballots in all their
varying manifestations, SHOULD have been anticipated and worked out before hand. Holding HALF the country hostage while "they" count or research malfeasance is abominable. This isn't how democracy is suppose to work!

All of this stinks to high heaven! I hope Kerry/Edwards KICK some ass over this!

4. Why do we expect to have election results in the night of the election
My we have become an impatient country. I would much rather wait a few days and be sure the count is totally accurate, than have a fast inaccurate result.

3. Rove did that same tactic years ago
and I'm not talking Florida. He used recounts as a political tool in a Alabama SC race years before the '00 election.
