Keys to the Kingdom by Senator Bob Graham
Edited on Mon Jun-06-11 12:24 PM by RamboLiberal
Shortly after an explosive op-ed piece about the 9/11 investigation appears in the New York Times, its author, former Senator and Co-chair of the 9/11 Congressional Inquiry Commission John Billington, is murdered near his Florida home.
Enter Tony Ramos, ex-Special Forces operative and former aide to Sen. Billington and currently a State Department intelligence analyst. Billington, having sensed the danger he faced, has left Ramos detailed instructions for an investigation into suspected Saudi complicity in 9/11. Ramos, in conjunction with Billington's daughter Laura, uncovers a shocking international conspiracy linking the Saudi Kingdom to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.

Despite efforts to derail their investigation, whose scope encompasses Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, Ramos and Laura discover that the Kingdom has recently provided bin Laden and al-Qaeda with three nuclear devices, two of which are successfully detonated by the terrorists overseas. But they were just a warm up to the grand finale. The third device, Ramos learns, will be detonated off the California coast.

Now Ramos and a team of Special Forces must race against time to prevent al-Qaeda from unleashing nuclear disaster on American shores, and beyond.

“His novel delivers uncommon insight into the treacherous and sometimes frantic craft of intelligence gathering. It reads like a true story because Graham knows where the truth lies.”
—Carl Hiaasen, New York Times bestselling author

“Senator Bob Graham had more wisdom than I when he said that going into Iraq would take our focus off Afghanistan. Graham is able to present a narrative about the threats we face in an exciting and fast-paced novel. Read this book and you will become more expert in understanding our dangerous world.”
— Jane Harman, Former Congresswoman and President, CEO, and Director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars

“Keys to the Kingdom ignites like a Homeland Security briefing and The Situation Room colliding head-on. Current, fast-paced, and crackles with the authenticity of someone who has obviously been ‘in the room.’”
—Andrew Gross, #1 New York Times bestselling author

“A fast-paced thriller that rings with authenticity, because it’s written by someone who knows how things really work at the highest levels of power.”
—Joseph Finder, New York Times bestselling author of Buried Secrets

“Keys to the Kingdom is a story penned by a man who understands well the ins-and-outs of Washington intrigue, the shifting ground, the deadly gamesmanship of Middle Eastern politics, and the mind-numbing fear of international terror in the nuclear age. Bob Graham has written a page-turner with believable characters, brimming with suspense, and steeped in wonderfully authentic and brightly-drawn locations. It is a story that constantly teeters on the edge of reality causing one to wonder: Are we reading fiction or the banner headline of tomorrow’s 9/11?”
—Steve Martini, New York Times bestselling author

“Bob Graham has produced a taut thriller that educates while it entertains. His novel throbs with the heart-pounding urgency of its memorable characters.”
— Rolf Mowatt-Larssen, Former Senior CIA Operations Off icer and Director of the Off ice of Intelligence and Counterintelligence for the U.S. Department of Energy

2. Rightwing propaganda is rightwing propaganda, whether they label it news or fiction
There's so much silly nonsense in this puff piece that I can't imagine every taking the guy's books seriously unless not only this thread but all the reviews quoted turn out to be an elaborate orchestrated smear.

7. Mr Bob Graham

I agree. There's a good chance Bob Graham's latest book is little more than a diversion, written by some Israeli shill or another, possibly Graham himself, in order to shift attention away from the mounting calls to investigate his handlers, and onto 'those Arabs.'

Overall, the Saudi role in 9/11 was limited, IMO, but vital, as it included allowing the procurement at the US embassy in Riyadh, of young men from all over the Middle East, allowed them to be exported to the U.S. allegedly for "military and intelligence training" at specified American bases around the country (Pensacola, Monterrey, etc.)

Reportedly, some financial assistance was sent by a Saudi princess to two of the alleged hijackers who were renting a San Diego apartment.

IIRC, on 9/11, then-Sen. Bob Graham was one of two people, the other being former head CIA spook Porter Goss who was enjoying breakfast at the Capitol Building that morning with Pakistan's top ISI spook, Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Ahmad, the very spook who ordered one hundred Grand to be wired to alleged hijacker "Mohammed Atta" just prior to 9/11.

If the story is true and not a plant to implicate the Pakistanis in 9/11, then that would mean there was only one degree of separation between Bob Graham and Mohammed Atta, that being Gen. Ahmad, just as there is only 1 deg. of separation between Geo. W. Bush Jr, and Atta, via Jack Abramoff. Atta the alleged "devout Muslim" and his sidekick were photographed while drinking aboard one of Mr. Abramoff's casino boats off the coast of Florida.

Now, if Mr. Atta and his men were "Islamic suicide pilots," what would they need with 100-G's just prior to committing suicide? -It doesn't make sense. Was the money to be used to bribe US officials, e.g., Sen. Graham and Porter Goss, into looking the other way?, or to be used to encourage the blocking of post-9/11 investigations at FBI, CIA, etc.? -Plenty of them were being blocked, particularly by FBI Director Robert Meuller and other high-level officials, as testified by FBI whistle-blowers, such as Agents Robert Wright, SA Coleen Crowley: the Moussaoui investigation, and the Phoenix flight schools invasion by crazed people posing as "Arabs."

Interesting too, that then-Sen. Bob Graham was conveniently selected to serve on the 9/11 Commission? Sen. Graham later went on record admitting that the American People had been deliberately kept in the dark, as his Commission was compelled to suppress vital information about the *PERPETRATORS* of 9/11, information that the public had a right to know.

Just announced that the Senator will be on tomorrow (that'd be Wednesday) and should throw some enlightenment on purpose of his book (rightwing stuff or simply a good thriller). (9:00 EDST)
