its about:

a pharma company and its Drs./Scientists in Minn. and the jungles of the Amazon in Brazil

a brave woman, an obsessed woman

death

heat and more heat

a Brazilian man you would want for a friend

pregnancy, c-sections, babies, and more babies

mushrooms, butterflies, tree bark

its a story you will read far into the night until your eyes won't work any longer

the novel Swamplandia! left me wanting to know the fate of the baby red alligator

State of Wonder makes me wanting to know the fate of the deaf boy renamed Easter
