"A Man Without a Country"
You gotta read it, its Vonnegut's first book since the summer of 99' and its hilarious like usual. He's the best cynic and satrist out there.

1. Thanks for the recommendation.

I've been thinking about buying this book. I love Vonnegut's books; but this book seems expensive for its size. I read the first essay in it in Barnes and Noble and it seemed to be straight out of one of his novels (I think Slaughterhouse 5) and I thought the book might be a rehash of things he's said before.

Based on what you say, I take it that these are original essays - new thoughts.

4. I wrote a book too
I feel like I'm a man without a country too. I wrote a book about my experiences with the CIA as I am a Hybrid alien.

5. There's a laugh on every page.
The year I discovered Vonnegut, I think I read about 8 or 9 of his novels. I can't wait till my son is old enough and interested enough to gobble them up.
