There is a great new book on the modern Democratic Party -- The Argument, by Matt Bai. I am reading it now and it is really fascinating. If you want to learn about the history of Moveon, or about how the Dems have become so powerful online in recent years, this book provides a great history lesson, and an interesting look to the future. The Chapters on the Democracy Alliance (the new funding group led by the "billionaires"), and the YearlyKos Convention (the "bloggers"), are particularly remarkable. You can buy it here:

4. Interesting book

I didn't agree with everything the author said, but he gives a detailed portrayal of the battle for the heart of the Democratic party.
