Fox Resurrects Banned 'Family Guy' Episode (No one complained about it)
NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Fox Broadcasting apparently has had a change of heart about an episode of the animated series "Family Guy" it once banned because of concerns it might seem anti-Semitic.

The network said this week that the controversial "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein" episode will make its broadcast debut at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 10.

Fox declined comment, but sources said the network was emboldened to air the episode because it has already run twice on cable's Cartoon Network without drawing any complaints. Its inclusion on a "Family Guy" DVD didn't elicit any protests, either.

1. If you've seen it on Cartoon Network,
it's been changed a tiny bit from the original. Peter sings a song about Jewish people and the line "even though they killed my lord" (Peter is Catholic) was changed to "I don't think they killed my lord".

5. My only complaint was that it wasn't
funny.

Season 3 in general was pretty lax in terms of wit.

I hope season 4 is more comparable to season 2, than 3. While Family Guy is crude, there seemed to be more overall intelligence displayed in the writing of season 2.

7. The best episode by far
was when they made fun of the deep south in the

episode where the family has to enter the witness

protection program.
