Godzilla Gets Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
LOS ANGELES -- Godzilla received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, 50 years after he stomped onto movie screens and hours before the premiere of his latest film, "Godzilla: Final Wars."

Producer Shogo Tomiyama appeared at a ceremony outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where the 2,271st star is located.

"I'm here representing Godzilla. Unfortunately, he cannot speak English," he said. "We're very excited he is being honored in America."

Even better news for Godzilla fans is that "GODZILLA: FINAL WARS" seems like it's everything we were hoping it would be. The reviews have been great! I haven't ran across a single bad one yet. Lets hope that it gets a U.S. distributer so we can see it on the big screen instead of having to wait for the DVD release.

:-)

2. Yeah, the bad ones finally started coming in
But, like you, I don't care. I've loved every Godzilla film--even the bad ones.

3. Personally it still sounds like a lot of fun to me
I think the bad reviews are coming from people expecting a bad ass dark Godzilla movie (which I'd like as well...but it wont happen). It sounds much more like the 70's G movies like Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla.Lots of silliness but still fun :)

4. I've seen the director's first film
"Versus". Track it down if you can. It's a zombie/martial-arts extravaganza! That's why I'm pretty sure that I'll love it no matter how many bad reviews it gets.
