2. Monk has been on that long? I didn't realize that show has run for 7yrs.
I normally like the show.. Its not something I HAVE to see, but its a nice filler to watch when ironing the laundry.. not hard to follow along, semi-amusing little detective drama with an OCD individual.

3. But it was sorta funny that the brother wanted to escape to...
Paraguay!

And why? They were quick to point out that Paraguay has no extradition treaties. With anybody.

I think the Monk writers read DU.

16. What makes you say that the writers are on this board?
It is not that I don't believe you. I just want to know.

5. I liked Sherona too!
I still miss her.

Not to say I don't like Natalie,
I do, but why couldn't Monk have
two assistants? ;-))

18. Sharona
I like the character of Sharona, but the actress that played her really annoyed me when she quit. Apparently, she though she could have received more money from the creators and when they refused to give it to her, she walked. That's a good message for our children. If you are not happy with a given situation, just quit. So now how much money has she made not working? I also felt bad for the actor who played her character's son. He lost his job when she had to be written out of the show.

6. funny how Wisconsin likes to point out it's own
Many funny people too. Gene Wilder comes first to mind. Then there are other famous Wisconites, Golda Meir, Artie Bremmer Tom Snyder.

7. I think Monk has been weak for a couple of years
It must be hard to keep writing clever scripts based around a single meme. I wonder when they plan to wrap up the show and have Monk catch Trudy's killer? I figure they will wrap up the series with a two part special that ends with Monk back on the force with some ironic twist, of course.

8. Last nights episode was
just a little too lame. Just not the least bit believable. Monk is a cross between my brother and sister.

12. Inching toward Trudy's killer at a snail's pace
I keep hoping they make more progress to nailing Trudy's killer(s). This gets mentioned about once per season. No reason the show can't continue after Monk finds her killer(s).

It's annoying, imo. I guess maybe that's the point but I can't watch it.

17. The Mentalist=Psych
The Mentalist seems like a ripoff of Psych. Theyre not exactly alike, but they are both about fake psychics. I do have a hard time believing that the creators of the mentalist would have came up with this idea if Psych was never on the air. Also, the main characters seem A LOT alike.
