How Bad Is the Transformers Sequel Going to Be?
All I'm hearing in pre-publicity is how crazy Shia's family is, and how HAWT Megan is. Kind of a bad sign.

4. The first one was way overrated.
And I didn't even notice this Megan Fox everyone is going crazy over in that first movie. She was completely forgettable. Perhaps it's because I'm not male or something? :shrug:

That's all I need to know. Bay's got my 10 bucks. I'm easy when it comes to movie eye candy. If there's also a plot I'm pleasantly surprised.

plus explosions.

8. Cars, Hell apparently they wreck the Gizeh Pyramids in this one.
And in one preview they blew up an aircraft carrier. I know these are not good things but they look pretty fookin cool on a big screen.

I was not going to see it, as I never understood the whole Transformer fad thingy....but I really enjoyed watching it..in fact its one of my faves....call me crazy.!! Crazy it is then.

Shia's hard to not like, there aren't many actors his age who put any real personality into what they're doing.

Funny to think that was probably John Turturro's worst written, yet probably best-paying, role to date.

Impossibly beautiful people with impossibly good technology battle evil robots, who, among other things, trash Paris, in an otherwise plotless series of explosions and aerial chases.

I really liked the first one. I own it. It wasn't classic cinema, but I grew up watching Transformers with my cousin and I enjoyed it for what it was. But this one was absolutely atrocious. Michael Bay somehow manages to make robots boring (when they're even in it). I had no idea what was going on during the fight scenes. The acting was horrendous. There was no plot (which would be ok, if the action was great-it wasn't).

Two. And. A. Half. Hours. Two and a half hours of this crap. I kept having to shake myself awake.

Gotta love it:

Critical consensus on Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen is overwhelmingly negative. But the critics are wrong. Michael Bay used a squillion dollars and a hundred supercomputers' worth of CG for a brilliant art movie about the illusory nature of plot.

ps - Can I just say I totally called this without reading a single preview?
