Does the entire family have to be considered money hungry just because of their father? It has been stated plenty of times that it was never planned for the family to speak. The family and friends were on stage singing "Heal the World" and at the end Marlon decided to speak. Then when he mentioned that Janet wanted to speak, Paris asked if she could. So I can see why you were torn a new one.

Michael Jackson kept those children out of the public eye as much as possible while they were alive. It's hard for me to believe he would think it appropriate that they be onstage at all, and especially during his memorial service.

In the meantime, we will see Joe Jackson's continuing efforts to make money off his son Michael's children until custody is awarded to someone else that has the pocketbook and the will to resist him.

Speaking about what he wants to do, isn't the same as doing it. Until I see them allowing Joe put those children in a group, I will hold out any judgements. From what has been reported, Joe and Katherine live in two different states and have for years. The only reason they aren't divorced is because of Katherine's religious beliefs. He has no custody or right to those children.

I also don't see anything wong with the children speaking about their father if they asked to. If you had of watched the entire memorial you would have seen that it was an innocent moment. Unless you did watch and just want to continue to make something bad out of it.

I was reading on ABC News that Debbie and Katherine may have come to a deal. One part of the agreement was that Joe will never have custody or be considered a guardian to the children. I hope this is true because that man is scum.
