He did this every place he went on tour - "he left the place better having been there", said Ortega. He said he wouldn't go on stage unless conditions were improved at that orphanage. Michael knew when to pull rank - where it made the most difference. He used his fame and fortune to help others - apparently everywhere he went.

He did a lot for other charitable causes but he didn't really brag about it.
