6. Ditto, but I have nothing but good things
to say about their fans. I live in the area where they had their last concert, and the folks who came were patient and good natured in the face of a huge screw up and big mess. As any country person will tell you, the location was absurd. Even with less rain than we had, it would have been a mess.

8. I'm not their biggest fan, but I definitely had a blast at the few Phish
shows I went to.

I'm more of a Dead fan :).

SCI is good fun too :)

9. Phish rules
Saw a lot of Phish shows. They were a blast. SCI is watered-down musak compared to Phish IMHO. Not even in the same league except everyone smokes pot at their shows...

29. There are times, I have to agree
I've tried to like Fish. I've never been to one of their concerts, so maybe I haven't seen them in their prime.

There are times when they are Jamming, that I start loving them, then they come on with the silly "John Denver," sweet and sappy lyrics, and I feel my stomach turn.

They are a Grateful Dead Wannabe Band, and there is only one Grateful Dead.

For Jam bands, I'd have to go with Wide Spread Panic. I loved their earlier work. Since Michael Houser's death, they seem to have gone more toward hard rock...but they still put on amazing converts.
