OMFG! I just saw that disaster called "The Apple" (1980).
It's the worst piece of garbage I ever saw in my life. The opening looks like a high-tech ScAmway gathering.

People give "Can't Stop The Music" a hard time, even though it was only a victim of bad timing. That movie is Oscar-Worthy compared to "The Apple."

3. This must be from an alternate universe, I've never heard anything about it.
Thank gawd.

Looks kind of like a prequel to The Running Man.

9. Cannon Group was Golan-Globus, Israeli producers, who made a # of stinkers
Edited on Tue Feb-08-11 01:24 PM by leveymg
mostly Cold War melodramas: The Delta Force and Invasion U.S.A., and even the vigilante thriller Exterminator 2 (the sequel to 1980’s The Exterminator),

Cannon’s biggest hit was Missing in Action, with Chuck Norris.

The central message of these films seems to have been: Kill the Commie Infidels before G-d comes to punish us all with unbearable music and lyrics! Nonetheless, some of the dialogue is (unintentionally) hysterically funny:

"Use your imagination - it's 1994"

10. They made a ton of movies
Some of the better ones included Grace Quigley, Barfly and Runaway Train. They also did lots and lots of bad comedy, tarted up classics, whatever.
