I'm enjoying the new season of True Blood.
"Eric" looked downright cuddly-sweet towards Sookie. This could be fun!

And bringing in Fiona Shaw to play Marnie was smart.

1. Eric looks like a wet noodle now.
So far the season is a disappointment for me.

2. Some of Eric's behavior comes from the books.
Some of the plotlines are nothing like I've ever read in the books. Bill is a king?

4. He got the Queen of La to come over for some faerie blood.
But he started a battle with her and then the assassins from the American Vampire League took her out for dealing V. Bill became king.

6. Yeah, but it's nowhere in the books.
Now I'm lost. Witches, yes, in the books. Bill becoming king? Not in the books.

Heck, Lafayette shouldn't even be alive, Tara is nothing like she is in the books, and there's no Bubba.:(

3. But I can't imagine that lasting. I think Eric will return bigger and
bolder than ever, especially in dealing with the witches.

7. My guess is they made Eric dumb to play with the sexual tension
between him and Sookie.

Since the good werewolf (I forgot his name) is back with his ex, the sexual tension between him and Sookie probably won't be played with this season.

Worst line of the episode: "Vamp up." I physically cringed when I heard that.

On a side note, I think Rutina Wesley (Tara) is the best actor on the show.
