Lady Gaga's "Oops, my bad" moment.....

Lady Gaga – fierce defender of gay rights and champion of homosexuals around the world – set her sights on a powerful political foe this week. Mother Monster appeared on Australian TV to speak out boldly against the hypocrisy of Prime Minster Julia Gillard, who has the gall to oppose gay marriage while living in the PM’s official residence with her lesbian partner.

It would have been a solid argument, were it not for one rather egregious error: Gillard is not a lesbian.

According to Australia’s Herald Sun, Gaga’s gaffe resulted from the ambiguous use of the word “partner” by TV reporter Tracy Grimshaw, who was in fact simply referring to Gillard’s live-in boyfriend, Tim Mathieson, often referred to by Australian press as the “First Bloke.” ..............(more)

1. Gillard is a piece of shit and a bag of hate
So any gaff about her is too good for her if it does not include the words 'bigot' and 'a-hole'.

4. Well, she certainly honors marriage and all that by shacking up.
From Wiki: Gillard's partner since 2006 is Tim Mathieson. She had previous relationships with union officials Michael O'Connor and Bruce Wilson and fellow Federal Labor MP Craig Emerson. She has never married and has no children.

Plus she's been around the block a few times so stop throwing stones, Ms. Gillard.

5. And if you oppose all government regulated
marriages, are you still an asshole?

What interest is it of the government in marriages other then noting a civil contract between two+ people?

6. Probably, but for completely unrelated reasons.
Just kidding.

What interest is it of the government in marriages other then noting a civil contract between two+ people?

I don't know. What interest does the government have banning public nudity, or weed, or certain TV content?
