4. Honestly I don't hate his music nearly as much as
I hated the Back Street Boys or any of the "pop culture" people from the late 90's early 2000's. But as far as I'm concerned there are three days on which the music died. February 3, 1959 the infamous Buddy Holly plane crash, December 8th 1980 the day John Lennon died and August 27, 1990 the day Stevie Ray Vaughan died.

7. I guess that's Bieber ?
The coolest thing ever was Arcade Fire winning the Grammy for Album of the Year 2011. Everyone thought it would be Bieber or GaGa. Huge upset by the most awesome band on the planet.

Music isn't dead.

10. Oh please. There is always a Justin and always will be
It has little to do with music. He's kid stuff, you know, for kids. If you liked him, they wouldn't. The circle of life.

14. Funny, I thought it was when Stevie Nicks said the internet is killing rock and roll, while she...
...stood in front of a Burger King stamped banner
and hand acted out her predictably 'quirky' lyrics.

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/stevie-nicks-discusses-album-dreams-14387080
(Aw, I can't hate on Stevie too much. But, Burger King? C'mon.)

Okay, how about when Henry Rollins started doing Gap Ads? Apple Ads?

Or when Michael Franti started pimping his music out to Corona Lite commercials
and letting them paste their ridiculous Corona Lite logo all over his webpage?
"Sold ya soul for St Ides Brew, Mike? At's aight, I like the Sprite in you."

That's much more jaw dropping , to me, than some
manufactured pop icon being...well...a manufactured pop icon.

Alas, there are so many days 'when the music died'.
Yet, here we are, and there it is.

By the way, hating on Beiber? Very brave.
=D
