I have an idea - wrote up an intellectual law contract- have no idea what
to do next. It is in the field of internet games. I can't make a prototype because I have NO IDEA how to make a video game. I was thinking of sending the idea to Microsoft or Nintendo.

Any suggestions?

DO check with legal sources.

But it may be sufficient for you to seek copyright protection.

The fact that you can't write the software probably has no bearing on that. Eventually, a software engineer would write the program and as a result would have a copyright on that---BUT they will have given those rights to you as a result of a "Work for Hire" contract signed ahead of time. That's how that works.

There are a series of books put out by NOLO PRESS. Extremely helpful.

Stuff like this is a crap shoot. And people enjoy good success with such enterprise. Keep both in mind.
