need a computer - but short on cash?

check this out -- http://retrobox.com/

heard about this place on NPR radio -- they take old computers, refurbish and resell them

worth a look-see if you are in need of or just want a newer computer than the one you are using

they also have monitors (most going for $31.00), printers and other perhipherals...

for a good amount less than comparable models on the site you link to. Just another possibility for those looking for a good deal.

Just what I was looking for.

E-Bay also has some great deals, but it requires attention to the auction process. But I was surprised that many of Retrobox's deals were as low or lower than those on E-Bay.

5. You need to contact Prisoner_Number_Six, he hangs out in DU lounge

and is my brother. He is owner of a computer home business and he will build you anything you want, high end, low end, refurbished, whatever you can afford, he will work it out with you. :)
