SMU doesn't want the Bush library. There's a petition to sign.

I went to the petition site and signed in honor of my grandparents Sophie and Edward Dement, 2 of the world's great Methodists!

1. That is not SMU, it is a group of Methodist ministers, though some SMU faculty don't want it either.

4. I misworded my OP due to misunderstanding. But I'm so happy to hear this.
Read: Blood Done Sign My Name if you want to hear about the good civil rights work of one methodist minister in my hometown Oxford NC. I'm not religious, but I have a tremendous amount of respect for my Methodist grandparents and those I've known through the years. It's amazing, but there is a difference among protestants as far as their willingness to open their minds and hearts.
