You can twist the Bible to justify anything, but Jesus was definitely a liberal, not a conservative.

You can't find Him saying anything about hating fags or poor people.

The Books of the Hebrew Scriptures and of the New Testament range widely in age. They span several political regimes and military events. Therefore, one shouldn't be surprised to find inconsistencies in the Bible. Attempting to find strict consistency in the Bible would be like trying to argue that all articles in Time Magazine from its beginning to the present agree with each other. It can't be done.

That's why strict constructionists are frequently seen as absurd.

And that is that Jesus was a liberal or left wing which ever you want to call it, and there are no contradictions to that fact.
I have issued the challenge before to any one that wants to take it on, to show me one instance where Jesus supports any RW principle or goes against the liberal thinking. That is an easy task because it is only 5 books in the bible to deal with.
