3. I've been a metalhead since forever

and I'm going to say something really un-metal -- this guy charms the socks off me. I like the way he rolls with cartoonish metal bravado, throwing horns and barking AT his audience instead of TO them, and doesn't dial down out of worry about being "ungodly." I get a kick out of the idea that he spent a lifetime singing oooOOOOooooOOO music and one day decided he needed to go YEEAARBLAARRRUUUURRRGH against a backline of Marshalls going CHUGGA-CHUGGA-CHUNK.

Friar Bonizzi is 17 kinds of awesome.
