1. Letter to the editor in opposition
This must be the series someone wrote a letter to the editor of our local paper in protest of; saying basically that this is a red state and stuff like this by "unbelievers" (meaning historical information) shouldn't be allowed to be broadcast here. He wanted people to stop supporting public broadcasting for showing this in a red state.

Really sickening how people call for TV to be "censored" in the South when it comes to religion. I am glad this information can be broadcast though. I never knew anything about the origins of the Bible until I felt the overwhelming need to investigate it for myself, and I certainly had to utilize interlibrary loan in order to do so.

3. So it would be acceptable to censor religious programs in my part of the country, right?
Washington is a blue state, and the 2001 American Religious Identification Survey showed that Washington is the least religious state in the nation. My own experience suggests that this lack of religion is very concentrated in the western, very urban third of the state.

I mean, fair is fair.
