It was seen on the 5th floor by NUMEROUS people---family, patients, staff....I remember back in 07 they were doing some renovations on the 5th floor and I was up there doing some kind of charge nurse thing, and me and a few of the other nurses are at the RN station just talking, and we suddenly hear this ear-piercing scream come from the end of the hallway.
Well, we all get up to go see who's dying or whose guts are coming out of their ears and what we see is this construction working come BOLTING from the end of the hall, where renovations were going on, and he is running his ASS off, white as a sheet, just screaming at the top of his lungs. He gets to the RN station and we're like "what's wrong? what's wrong?" because he's screaming like he's DYING and patients are looking out of their rooms and everyone is just like WTF?!?
So he's shaking, and crying, and still kind of screaming/weeping,and we get him in the break room and he was shaking like he was having a seizure I swear. So he gets calmed down kind of and he's like 'Get me the fuck out of here, I never want to come back here ever again!!" and is frantic and crying and after some MORE trying to get him calmed down we find out that he was in the back hallway, between the unit and the roof top, and he sees this girl in a hospital gown walking towards him. So he tries to get her to turn around because there are no patient rooms there, and she's not talking, just walking down the hallway. So he gets closer and he can see through her, and she walks through him and then through the wall behind him. he said before she walked through him, she "looked" at hi and his his words "I saw hell" and she touched him and then vanished into the wall.
That's when he high-tailed it out of there, and he never came back after that day.
I thought it was just a ha-ha funny joke, but several people I worked with said that "the girl" was a frequent visitor to that part of the hospital and was seen by A LOT of people, patients, family members, staff, etc, over the 50+ years that the hospital was around.
I only worked there for 2 years, and only spent about 3 hours total on the 5th floor and so I never saw her.
But that guy was FREAKED OUT. I swear I've never seen ANYONE who looked the way he did. It SCARES me just thinking about it! (not the ghost---the way the guy looked. He was petrified. I don't believe in Ghosts)
