Roman Catholic priest was counseling substance abusers, but in 1968 he allegedly raped a teenage boy
The Rev. Francis Markey was arrested this week at his South Bend home and faces possible extradition to Ireland on charges that he raped a teenage boy there in 1968.

Hopefully justice will catch up to all of them eventually

1. not sure why his extradition is "possible" - seems like it should be "guaranteed"

2. This would probably be interesting if it actually went to court. But I suspect that it won't.
Given his age and health, Markey will probably agree to be sentenced to a hospital for his remaining years.

The reason I say it would be interesting is because it appears that Irish law is all over the place when it comes to sex, rape, and age of consent.
