Ted Haggard says it's all about the Love, baby. Predicts the end of the Religious Right
He's sounding a bit like the 70s hippie Jesus Freaks before they morphed into straitlaced Born Againers. It'd be nice if he could turn fundies into love-bombing hobbits, but they wouldn't even take mean ass Jimmy Swaggert back, and he was their kind of guy.
Ted Haggard sounds quite visionary in his recent Twitter comments. He predicts the end of the Religious Right and the start of what he calls the Love Reformation. He’s also working on a book proposal about the love reformation he sees coming.

Another theme of Haggard’s tweets is his questioning what he sees as judgment in churches.

“I thank God he forgives me, saves me, redeems me, fills me, and loves me,” he says. “I thank God he doesn’t do it the way most churches do.”

“THE GREAT DECEPTION: On the outside of our building, we say we are a hospital, but when people get inside, they see it’s a courthouse.”

In this tweet, he wonders if the secular world has something to teach churches about judging others. “Could it be that those who don’t attend our churches are more insightful than those who do? Maybe they should reach us?”...

1. A bit late
The religious right has been collapsing for the better part of a decade. The new incarnation is often called the "second commandment" religiousness. More focus on caring for God's creations, including the planet.

2. He seems to have woken the hell up...
however, ain't never going to happen. The "Religious Right" will morph into something else; full-blown fascists, perhaps. They are not suddenly going to become loving, non-judgmental souls because they are not "Christians" for the ideology but for the control that fundie churches impose on them.
Here's another round of the most useful book out there:

5. And to think Christians used to stand and listen to sermons that lasted hours.
Now the goal is 140 characters or less.
