to get up to do her morning routine to prep for work (I follow her) ... and I'm flipping through the channels ...

and I run across (5:30+ AM) Kenneth and Gloria Copeland "delivering" bible-based teachings.

Actually, I ran across some guy spouting about how the current "conditions" are likely for "socialism" (and the "Nazism" which logically follows ... that's sarcasm on my part, but essentially what this guy was PREACHING) to take over "America".

I thought ... "Where are all the spinners we heard (during the fascist reign of Bush) who screamed that 'The President' wasn't like Hitler, he wasn't sending people on trains ..." along with other stuff done during the Nazi reign in the 30s ...

When a Dem pointed out something mirroring or paralleling something like the 1930s, there was a media firestorm, calling the Dem insane for calling Bush Hitler (which he didn't) or for calling the troops Nazi Stormtroopers (which he didn't either).

But some rightie says that the Dems are making the US into 30s Germany? Not a peep ...

Despite the fact that Republican/"Independent" frontrunners for leadership are backing proposals which lead to deporting (or, jailing ... how long before "for their own protection" becomes the spin?) people based on how a person looks, or worse ...
