Would someone, other than myself, tell me
what is wrong with this picture?

This picture URL was posted by some RR moron in an article that discussed what Christ might have looked like.

If you have your head on your shoulders, you would agree that Christ likely looked like a Middle Eastern Jew, a depiction that was shown a few years ago as to an average citizen of the area in which he was born. You would NOT go for the WASP look, nor would you attribute Mr. C with blue eyes or other traits that would have been foreign to much of the area.

So look at that picture, and hopefully, you will laugh, because something remarkable can be seen in it that some might not even see.

Because I want to make sure it's not just me who sees a remarkable likeness to someone in the here and now, and NO, it isn't a holy man.

The article, BTW, is at http://www.cbsnews.com/8601-504803_162-20026089.html?assetTypeId=41&blogId=10391709&tag=socialBottom;commentWrapper

6. I saw *Wineworld* -- it was great!
Especially the part where Craft Services fed the multitudes with a leftover ham sandwich and half a bottle of generic cola.

5. Looks like a young Charlton Heston to me
eg

I suspect that, since he played Ben Hur and Moses, some Americans think he is what Jews looked like two or three thousand years ago.

The perspective in the picture looks weird - almost as if the tree at the bottom left is sucking the whole landscape into it. And the vegetation looks a bit lush for the Middle East too.

9. Is this Mormon art?
Vast amounts of it depict Semitic peoples as being just a half a shade darker than Scandinavians.

Man creates god in his own image and likeness, then says it's the other way around.

10. What's wrong with it? Where do I begin?
Kevin Costner "Dances with Mutton"

The first time it rains all those crops are going to be in that river. You don't make furrows pointing downhill. You also don't plant crops in a flood plain.

You can be a shepherd. Or you can be a farmer. But damn sheep won't let you grow anything.

If the sun is setting behind him, casting deep shadows, how is it also dramatically lighting his face?

I doubt Jesus sported a mullet.
