Hmm. “Did not aid the poor and needy.” Who knew that that’s what the Bible condemns as sodomy? At a time of budget cuts that devastate the poor, isn’t that precisely the kind of disgusting immorality that we should all join together in the spirit of the Bible to repudiate? "

In my personal life I have always scrupulously avoided having sex with angels, (one of the lighter burdens of a turbulent life) but in fact the Bible's attitude toward that form of pleasure is equivocal, not so sanctimonious as you might imagine.

For instance, grappling all night with an angel is quite a signal event for one of the patriarchs.

The other instance that comes to mind is of course the Nephilim, and we need to keep in mind that they, the offspring of angels, were heroes, the great men of old. To me that suggests the angels' actions impregnating the beautiful women of Israel was a least favored by positive results. Doesn't the book say "By their fruits ye shall know them."?
