if Islam were the enemy, then Christianity would command Christians to love Islam ...

... and George W. Bush didn't want Christians to love Islam?

1. His flaws were not about him not trying to help some groups.

His motives for much of that were actually to help those countries, how he sees helping.

But you can't fight the 'terror concept' by scareing people, and you can't heal a nation by bombing its people. Regardless of how easy that is.

3. There are a special subset of Biblical commands that have a technical term reserved for them.
They are 'honored in the breach.' For instance, the command to give away your possessions, or the command to cancel all debts every so often. Before you go off half cocked, nothing to do with altar boys.
