For those that characterize science, skepticism, atheism or empiricism as sterile and cold compared to the warmth of religion; this video is a rebuttal. It is very well done with high production value.

2. To be honest I got more out of watching Cosmos than I ever did in church...
unlike in church, I actually learned something from Cosmos, and all the innumerable science programs I'm still addicted to, 32 years and ongoing. The day I stop learning, the day I stop increasing my own understanding of the universe, will be the day I die, and it will be with no regrets, and my life will represent time well spent.
