Happy JesusWeen!
by Abby Zimet
October 28, 2011

Okay all you Whopper-and-Almond-Joy-loving heathens: Time to give it up for Jesus. Citing Halloween's "ungodly images and evil characters," Pastor Paul Ade has created the blessed JesusWeen, "a God-given vision which was born as an answer to the cry of many every October 31st." The cry, of course, is for Bibles, which is what JesusWeen followers will be giving out to unsuspecting children on - and he admits this - the "day that is widely acceptable to solicit and knock on doors," thus hopefully ushering in “the most effective Christian outreach day ever.” So get ready children - Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, atheist, agnostic, zombie like in that photo and any other pagan types - it's Bibles for you. Yum.

2. Kind of a reverse Jehovah's Witness, isn't it?
Instead of them bringing The Word to your home, you go to their place and they give it to you. Oh the kids'll line up for miles! What kid doesn't want a stranger to give you their Bible? These people are nuts! Can you say "deluded"?

Have these freaks never heard of Purim? It's plenty religious and the kids are SUPPOSED to wear costumes.

Is God so fragile He can't abide a silly evening of fun for kids? Maybe they need to have a little more faith in Him. Or maybe they should just go door-to-door delivering Bibles on Halloween. That would sure scare me.

6. Christians co-opt another holiday for themselves
Then use it as an opportunity to recruit strangers' children. Can you say "creepy"?
