So a freeper took issue with my rescuing Christianity post...
"You my dear are everything and worse that you accuse the socalled fundies aka traditional Christians of being. You are all about controlling others- be it in religion/politics or economics. Typical freaking marxist."

I posted a rebuttal, but I bet dollars to donuts this person never comes back to my blog ever again.

1. What a passive aggressive freak.
"You my dear"

6. *g* Well, to be fair he or she walked in midconversation as the
blog bit was a continuation of a DU conversation. I put up some more background explanation so that things make more sense for anyone else just wandering in, but I would think there would still be the whole repressive marxist argument coming from the fundies even then.

3. Hi, GPV!
Good blog!

A bunch of us in Temecula, CA. are going to try to get a group of the Religious LEFT (liberal) together.

I'll report back when we do.

4. Its harder to see things from the other point of view than most think
They really do think their rejection of tolerance is a rejection of evil.

8. Yes, it is very very hard. I think that is why even though it is
frustrating for me to attend a conservative church it is also helpful. Not only to I get to see how they think but being around them humanizes them. They are not my ideological opposites but people I care about and whose company I enjoy as long as we aren't talking religion or politics.
