Would Jesus Want a War Over His Birthday?
Sure, the US is predominantly Christian, but isn't that all the more reason why those who claim to emulate Christ should open their hearts to others at this time of year? I may be wrong, but I think Jesus would.

1. I think the RW is trying to create an issue here....
They do this every year. If there isn't much going on at the time, people will talk about it, but in a year like this, they're just spinning their wheels. I think we've learned how to pick our battles.

2. Jesus was a pacifist through
and trough he wouldn't approve of war ever.

3. No
Especially since there's no historical evidence that the birth of Jesus in any way coincided with Tmas/Winter Solstice, and plenty of evidence that it didn't. It's just Faux News distraction bullshit, and it's driving me to "hate the holidays" even moreso. I'll celebrate the birth of Christ in April, when there aren't so many damned hypochristian dipwads worshipping Mammon at the same time.

4. those going to "war" over Christmas
Are Christians and Catholics led astray as far as I'm concerned. Christmas supremacists I call 'em :)

I love Christmas, but it's perfectly OK with me if you don't
