Pat Robertson's pathetic attempt to be Dear Abby...
There's an interesting mix of drivel here. Go if you need a good laugh. Don't go if you think your head might explode. Here's a little bit.

A parent is concerned her 19 yr old is too young to marry a 22 yr old Marine. Pat accuses the parent of bad-mouthing the marines. Pat tells man to tell wife to submit to him because of his rebellious stepdaughter. Tells a woman that she shouldn't pursue a nursing career. She should stay home and be a mom first. (he says she'll bring home nasty germs) He tells a husband that his wife's anger problems are satanic. Tells a parent to pull their 4.0 gpa son out of college because he has a girlfriend who is a Wiccan.

There are also some of the most idiotic questions being asked. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but still...sometimes it seems like common sense takes a vacation whenever religion is involved.

2. Oooh, check this one out about computer games...
My 18-year-old son is hooked on computer games that have magic spells in them. I'm concerned, but what can I do?

Once they are 18, it is tough. Nevertheless, as a mother, sit down with your son and say, 'We are Christians and love Jesus. This kind of conduct is hurtful to you and damaging. There are demons.' You need to explain to him the reality of demonic possession. You begin with one of those games and it draws you in. Remember the stuff that happened out there at that tragedy in that high school near Denver when those boys had played a computer game and acted it out to their classmates? These things are dangerous. You need to sit down and talk to him and say, 'I love you and this is the way it is.'

Bring the biblical verses that show him how these things are wrong. You can find a number of instances. Get a concordance and look up 'spirits' and 'demons' and look up the 'devil,' 'Lucifer,' and 'Satan' and show that they are not just fun and games. You need to show him the consequences and he will listen. And do a lot of praying that the spells he may be under may be broken, because it is possible for someone to get transfixed like they do with Dungeons & Dragons. They play those roles so much and it takes them over.

The thing that makes this one especially dangerous is he looks and acts like a goofy old grandpa. He's a criminal, and his advice is often criminally irresponsible as well as stupid.

He tells a desperately lonely woman with a 5-year-old son to lie to the kid about her feelings for Daddy, go ahead with her quest for a man (which will undoubtedly involve ignoring the kid), and tell him it'll be like a new daddy. Don't worry about child molesters. Don't even mention it, because desperate women who believe they must find a man never fall victim to lying loser pedos who say the right things. Just validate the belief that finding a man is the most important thing, get the kid on board with that load of crap, and forget about his real dad and his feelings. After all, IT is just a little boy.

And don't ask the 13-year-old who uses the phrase "my dad came to me" and "now he expects me to feel so tight with him" what feelings about her body have to do with it.

Fucker. I could go on and on, pulling examples of overlooking his followers' personal welfare in favor of bullshit that keeps them coming back for more.
