I see he's hitting over .300 but he might bring that Pirates' losing mentality over with him. Still I wouldn't mind seeing him a Giant, if we can get him without giving up any top prospects. Looks like Wilson and Sanchez are likely to go somewhere.

4. Oh he'd be a good pick up....Can you imagine the funny look on his face

as he played his first home game in San Francisco with more than the 3,500 people he's used to playing in front of in Pittsburgh!?

He'd be like, I'm on a winning team and we actually have a season ticket base of more than 20,000?! :wow: LOL

6. Interestingly, the Pirates didn't have the "losing mentality" back in the

early 90's. Though it does seem that Bonds did find a home with the "losing mentality" of the San Francisco Giants (55 years).

7. Considering

the Pirates have had a losing record for 16 consecutive seasons, going on 17, and that ownership makes no real effort to win whatsoever, I believe a "losing mentality" is the proper way to describe the current Pittsburgh franchise.
