A-Rod now 10th all-time in home runs
ANAHEIM -- With a solo home run to center field in the eighth inning at Angel Stadium during Saturday's 14-8 loss to the Halos, Alex Rodriguez passed Rafael Palmeiro for 10th on baseball's all-time home runs list, hitting the 570th of his career.

Rodriguez tied Palmeiro in the first inning with a two-run homer to left field.

"Alex has been amazing for us," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "He is a big threat and will continue to get milestones as long as he stays healthy."

Rodriguez has been on a tear recently, hitting .407 with a double, eight home runs and 22 RBIs in his past 16 games.

6. Ok he has 414 home runs
He confessed to using steroids only while at Texas and considering the jump off from 41 to 52, then 57 it is believable.

11. What's the cutoff number before you think it's wrong?
Is it ok if only 100 of them were because of steroids? What amount of steroid enhanced home runs is acceptable to you? Is 99 ok but 100 too many?

15. I subtracted every year he was in Texas
He admitted to using while in Texas and was the same team he pissed hot for. Considering he was going from 35-40 home runs while in Seattle and jumps to 52-57 while in Texas I believe him.

I'm not an expert on how much it increase rather then how much he'd normally hit. Bit since every homer is tainted since he pissed hot for one year but he admitted to his time in Texas I substract down to 414.

I'm trying to be open minded as possible. I wiped out 164 from his record. That is a fair amount and that isn't even assuming he'd hit at least 20 home runs which would bring the number up to 474 rather then 414.

He said * so I was asking what numbers is ok and what isn't. I answered it for him and cut it down to 414.

So how about 2005 when they started drug testing? He is currently at 141 home runs.

As far as I can speak for those years. Drug testing wasn't a norm so might as well wipe off every single record before 2005 and start fresh.

What happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? If you abandon that then you lose any ground you have to stand on (which isn't much to start with).
