The Pistons being the most dirty team ever to play. Laimbeer, Thomas and the rest of the thugs.

5. Pistons learned that style of play from the Celtics
And the rest of the NBA took it up after.

8. the Celtics of the 80s
played a beautiful style of basketball. There was the occasional hard foul, but not the thuggery of the Pistons or the Knicks later on. And I'm a Knicks fan. It ruined basketball for at least 10 years.
