Poll question: Which NCAA game has the best chance to be an upset this week?
It happens practically every year during the first week. Who's going to do it this year? (BTW, Appalachian State doesn't play a ranked team this year)

1. I hate BYU with a passion but I'd love to see them beat Oklahoma
However I voted for San Jose St over USC even though it will likely not happen. I'd like for it to happen.

2. Next one would be Nevada over No. 23 Notre Dame.
I should not leave that one out.

4. Washington over LSU...
...hopefully this will be one of at least 3 losses for LSU, that's the only way the BCS (a wholly owned subsidiary of the SEC) won't let them into the title game.

5. Maryland beat a good Cal team last year.
I think they can do it again.

15. Maryland actually plays better on the road.
Ask at the time undefeated Rutgers and if I'm not mistaken they beat Cal in Cal a couple of years ago.

7. I'm not predicting an upset of LSU by UW
after all the Tigers have the far superior athletes, but I'll be surprised if UW doesn't give a much better performance than most experts across the country are expecting... And IMO the LSU/UW game has a far better chance for an upset than any of the others listed..

11. Won't happen, fishwax.
By all the media accounts, ND is either going to be in the Championship game or, at worst, a BCS game. I hate that school with a passion. Touchdown Jesus should be renamed Touchback Jesus.

12. Lou Holtz said last week that Florida would "upset" Notre Dame in the title game
 Yeah, we'll see. Their schedule is pretty easy this year, so I'm sure they'll win some games, but they haven't beaten a ranked team since 2006 and haven't beaten a top ten team since 2005.

Where, of course, he cheated at. It's always hideous ND.

you claim one of those games will be an upset...well, I only see two reasonable possibilities, and LSU/UW is one of them

That could have been the upset of the day.
